Vejo as noticias…o numero de mortos na Palestina a aumentar
I see the news…the number of killings in Palestine raising.
Porquê? Why?
Para quê tudo isso?
Why all of that?
Revenge should not manifest through killing, nor by mistreating people.
A vingança não deveria vir pela matança, nem por maltratos às pessoas.
E tudo parece ter a ver com poder. Uns querem simplesmente um sitio onde podem viver tranquilamente.
And everything seems to be around power.
Some simply want a place to live in peace.
Outros acham que sao donos das pessoas.
Others think they own people.
E muitos desrespeitam os mais vulneraveis.
And many disrepect those most vulnerable.
E pelo medo, muitos querem o poder. Ter o controlo e o dominio sobre os outros.
And by fear, many want power.
Having control and dominate others.
E muitos não se entendem mutuamente.
And many do not reach mutual agreements.
E tudo se torna uma batalha, nuns sitios do mundo essa batalha é a niveis subtis e noutros brutal…
And everything becomes a battle…in some places of the world this battle is somewhat subtle and in others brutal.
E para quê?
And for what?
Por um pedaço de céu?
For a place on the sky?
For a place in the dust?
Para se tornarem estrelas?
To become stars?
Para se tornarem planetas?
To become planets?
We are practicing peace in this planet…and that does not come through war.
Nos estamos a praticar a paz neste planeta…e isso não vem pela guerra.
Some use the resources they have close by.
Others envy them and want to take others resources.
And the challenge becomes on how to share.
E o desafio vem sobre como partilhar.
Precisamos de ter noção dos recursos que existem em cada local.
We need to have a notion of the available resources in each place.
